Harvey is the AI platform built for the legal industry, used by more than 140,000 legal professionals at law firms and in-house teams worldwide.
Enterprise clients embed Harvey's AI directly into their own platforms and internal tools, making the API a critical part of how legal teams adopt the product.
Challenge
The developer docs are the technical interface between Harvey and the law firms integrating it at scale. Their previous platform, ReadMe, made that harder than it needed to be, for both customers navigating it and the team maintaining it.
Solution
Harvey moved to Mintlify and built a custom-branded API reference at developers.harvey.ai covering authentication and onboarding, endpoints for client matters and document QA, and integration guides for embedding Harvey into internal applications. llms.txt makes all of it machine-readable for AI agents and coding tools, and the web editor lets Harvey's Solutions Architect team own and maintain the docs without touching a GitHub repo or pulling in engineering.
People really like using [Mintlify]. It's much better than the vendor we came off of previously. It's easier to use. It's more visually appealing.

Danae Mullen
Solutions Architect at Harvey
The law firms on the other side notice too. Harvey's customers "get value from it," Mullen says, "and it's just easy for them to navigate."
